Direct Vent Technology Napoleon’s Direct Vent Stoves do not require a chimney and can be vented directly through a wall or roof. The direct vent gets its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air. Direct venting also eliminates draft associated with other fireplaces.
Natural Vent/B-Vent Adapter Kits Already have a chimney? No problem! The direct vent stove easily converts into a convenient B-Vent using Napoleon’s exclusive B-vent adaptor kit, including a standard built-in safety spill switch with automatic reset.
