IMPERIAL manufactures it's black stove and accessories exclusively with 24 gauge black matt pre painted steel, a combination of superior high quality cold roll steel and a finish of silicone acrylic black paints. This tough and long lasting finish resists scratches much better than other painted surfaces. Our roll forming and manufacturing process is done from ready finish painted stack thus showing the hard resistance of handling without any deterioration of the initial appearance. The black matt finish will not flake or crack even when dented and will not blister or peel like a spray painted finish.
